12 years after their first performance, the unstoppable rock band SUM 41 returns to Croatia, to one of the most beautiful stages in the Adriatic – The Summer Stage in Opatija.
Sum 41 back to Croatia
The concert will take place on June 11. Ticket sales will begin on February 22 at 10 a.m. via the Eventim online system and at Eventim sales points.
SUM 41 is coming to Croatia as part of a tour promoting their seventh studio album Order in Decline. Undoubtedly the heaviest and most aggressive album in their legendary career, and at the same time the most dynamic.
Deryck Whibley took a total of three weeks to write some of the most personal and honest songs of his career, which were greeted with rave reviews by critics.
“The edges are softened by the pop-punk melodies that still lurk deep in the SUM 41 DNA, but this is definitely not a pop-punk album. The evolution continues and becomes quite impressive.” – wrote Kerrang!
Their eighth album Heaven and Hell is already in production and is expected to be released soon, so we hope for a performance of new songs on the Summer Stage in Opatija.
Ticket sales start on February 22 at 10 a.m. through the Eventim online system and at physical Eventim sales points. The first contingent of tickets will have the price of 39 EUR.
Important info: the band recently announced that they will be disbanding soon, this might be their last concert in Croatia!
The Lunar Year will open the Sum 41 concert. It is a duo divided between the UK and Croatia. The Lunar Year may have been born online, but UK-based vocalist, guitarist, and bassist Connor Ball [The Vamps] and Croatian drummer Sasa Macek [Cheat Codes] brought the music to life the good old-fashioned way—face-to- face. Together, they infuse pop punk with fresh energy and undeniable attitude, igniting a one-two punch of chant-able choruses and airtight instrumentation.
