Rock for People 2025 festival has just completed another year of its thirty-year history. It was exceptional in several respects, be it its length or its record attendance and budget. The five-day program offered over 200 shows on 10 stages and was watched by over 50,000 visitors.

The whole festival was dominated by the Saturday performance of American band Linkin Park, who, with their new singer Emily Armstrong, proved to be a groundbreaking band that has shaped several generations. The audience was filled with strong emotions connected to the band’s successful comeback, and there were tears, too.
The first day was led by rock legends Avenged Sevenfold, who showed world-class form. The second day culminated with an incredibly energetic show by metal kings Slipknot, who were received with great enthusiasm from the cheering crowd. On Friday, the highlight of the evening was the performance of punk pioneers Sex Pistols with their new singer Frank Carter, who quickly became a crowd favorite. The festival ended on day five with a spectacular show by Guns N’ Roses as part of the added Birthday Day to celebrate the festival’s 30th anniversary.
“I have a lot of emotions mixed up in me, but I would like to highlight the gratitude I feel right now. We have prepared the 30th edition of the festival with a huge commitment of the whole team, but also with great humility to make everything work exactly as we wanted,” says festival founder Michal Thomes and adds: “I enjoyed it very much, it was once again confirmed that we have the best audience, who have great taste in music and know how to enjoy concerts to the fullest. The festival has exceeded all my expectations and I am already looking forward to the new decade.”
