Following the announcement of the first two headliners, blink-182 and Faith No More, the Rock for People festival is revealing another major wave of bands for the 2027 season. The third confirmed headliner is the Australian metalcore sensation Parkway Drive, which will deliver a thrilling, pyrotechnics-filled show on Friday, June 4, 2027, at Park 360 in Hradec Králové. The role of special guest will go to the legendary American band Evanescence, led by charismatic singer Amy Lee. The entire newly announced lineup features over 45 acts. The most loyal fans, who are members of the RFP Club, were also the first to learn the new names directly from the organizers at an exclusive evening gathering with the Rock for People team. “I’m very pleased that we were able to welcome this new wave of bands live, right alongside our most loyal club fans,” says festival director Luděk Motyčka. More than half of the tickets for Rock for People are already sold out, and one-day tickets are now available for those interested in specific days. The organizers also plan to launch accommodation sales soon. Tickets are on sale on the website: https://rockforpeople.cz/en/tickets/.

Rock For People 2027
The new lineup of more than 45 acts showcases a strong balance in programming and a wide variety of genres that will satisfy both traditional rock fans and enthusiasts of the latest musical trends. “For us, the Rock for People lineup has always been about finding a balance—we bring in today’s biggest arena stars, but at the same time we give plenty of space to new musical trends and wilder club bands,” adds Motyčka.
The Hottest Names at Rock for People
Evanescence stands out as one of the biggest highlights of the new announcement as a special guest. They will return to the Rock for People stage after a decade-long hiatus. The two-time Grammy winners, known for their signature blend of dark rock guitars, symphonic melodies, and Amy Lee’s mesmerizing voice, will perform timeless classics from their debut album *Fallen*, such as “Bring Me to Life” and “My Immortal.” They’ll also perform new material, led by their latest album Sanctuary (2026), which clearly bears the influence of producer Jordan Fish (formerly of Bring Me The Horizon). Moreover, the band is currently riding a huge wave of new success – for example, with the singles “Afterlife” and “End of You” (featuring Poppy and Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox), which have topped the prestigious Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.
Indie-pop sensation Bastille – BRIT Award winners, Grammy nominees, and creators of three No. 1 albums on the UK Chart – will also delight fans with their return following their last festival performance in 2015. Bastille rose to fame thanks to their era-defining megahit “Pompeii” and their billion-stream collaboration “Happier” with Marshmello. The band, which has sold over 13 million albums and recently collaborated with Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer, is returning to the stage in top form.
The genre scene will then be shaken up by the unique Dutch phenomenon Joost, who has been taking European stages by storm in recent years with his energetic mix of rap and electronic music, after capturing global attention in 2024 at Eurovision with the “Europapa” phenomenon. Joost is creating his own musical universe and, in 2026, he shone at the legendary Coachella festival, among other venues. The lineup will also feature Canadian pop-punk stalwarts Simple Plan. With over 10 billion streams worldwide and having performed at the Winter Olympics, the band will get Park 360 dancing to timeless hits that defined a generation, such as “I’d Do Anything,” “I’m Just A Kid,” “Welcome To My Life,” and “Perfect.”
The darker and heavier parts of the lineup will be handled by the German thrash-metal legend Kreator, which defined Europe’s response to American thrash metal in the 1980s and remains one of the most prominent faces of German metal to this day. Their album “Gods of Violence” (2017) climbed to the top of the German charts, and their 1986 track “Pleasure to Kill” was featured in the cult Netflix series “Dark.” On the lineup are also the French synthwave audiovisual wizards Carpenter Brut, as well as metalcore stalwarts The Devil Wears Prada, Novelists, and the metal band Orbit Culture. The emo scene will be represented by the popular Hawthorne Heights and Hot Mulligan.
A wide variety of genres and the hottest new names
Among the most exciting acts set to appear in the Rock for People lineup is Showing Teeth, who blend progressive metalcore and deathcore. “We’ve been following Showing Teeth ever since singer Addison was recording her first covers on her phone right in the car. When we saw them live at the American festival Louder Than Life, their explosive mix of pop and extreme music definitely convinced us that we had to bring them to Hradec,” says head booker David Nguyễn. The mysterious Cenobia builds on a ritualistic atmosphere, and The Paradox will bring fresh pop-punk. Meanwhile, London’s Tooth combine American emo with a guitar sound inspired by The Smiths, while the energetic punk duo Cowboy Hunters serve up raw punk energy without any frills. Rounding out this showcase of the freshest acts on the scene is the alt-rock band Temper City, whose hit “Self Aware” has already racked up over 600 million streams on Spotify.
The diverse lineup is rounded out by American rock staple Daughtry, the distinctive rapper Rico Nasty with her new mysterious project, the German punk-rock band Donots, and the solo project of Einar Solberg, frontman of Leprous. The domestic scene will be represented at the festival by the popular band Chinaski. Alongside established names, plenty of stage time will also be given to promising bands and current club scene discoveries such as Annisokay, As December Falls, Banshee, Guilt Trip, Resolve, The Snuts, Tigercub, and XO Armor.
Nominations for International Festival Awards
The festival’s successes and international reach are further confirmed by its current nominations for prestigious awards. This year, Rock for People is once again in the running for awards at the UK Festival Awards in the International Festival of the Year category and at the European Festival Awards in the Best Major Festival (with attendance over 40,000) and Lineup of the Year categories. Fans vote for the winners and can cast their votes on the websites of the individual awards.
